The Desert Facade

The Desert Facade as viewed from the confluence of the Colorado River and the Little Colorado River at mile 62 in the Grand Canyon.

This is the proposed location for the “Escalade Project” where an gondola tramway will bring tourists from the canyon’s rim down to the confluence of the two rivers. The project proposal also calls for an elevated walkway along the river to take tourists to a restaurant.
