Last Light at Mohave

The golden hues of a clearing storm reflect off the Colorado River as the sun sets at the Grand Canyon. From Mohave Point on the South Rim along the Hermit Road.

Far below is Granite Rapid at mile 94, and in the distance is Hermit Rapid at mile 95.5, both rapids are an 8 on the 1 to 10 rating scale used on the Colorado River. There is 277 miles of the Colorado River within Grand Canyon National Park.
