Toroweap overlooking the Colorado River.

Toroweap overlook in the Tuweep District of Grand Canyon National Park. 3,000 feet below and a couple miles downstream is Lava Falls Rapid, perhaps the most diffcult rapid in the entire canyon. It is rated at anywhere from an 8 to 10 on the rating scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the most difficult.
