Early morning light breaks through a gap in storm clouds momentarily bathing the cliffs downstream of Granite Rapid in warm light. Granite Rapid is located at river mile 94 on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.This photograph was made on day 9 of an 18 day photograpghy expedition.
