Lightning at the Grand Canyon.

Rain falling from a monsoon thunderstorm is backlit by the setting sun causing the sky to appear to be on fire as lightning erupts from the storm and strikes the Grand Canyon. I created this image by stacking 6 images shot back-to-back and merged in Photoshop (using a technique similar to creating star-trail photos) so that I could show the intensity of this storm
